At Solo Canyon we are professionals in active tourism with specialization in canyoning .
We are located in the town of Las Almunias de Rodellar , where you will find us at our headquarters at the Las Almunias Hostel.

Paco Burgos, Barrancos Sports Technician will transmit all of his experience as a guide in Guara since 1999.

This place is surrounded by the basins of the Balced and Alcanadre rivers, an unbeatable place to access the best-known ravines within the Sierra y Cañones de Guara Natural Park .

From here, at Solo Canyon we offer you:

- Canyoning : guided tours in the riverbed in which you will have to tackle different natural obstacles between the water currents.

- Via Ferrata : routes similar to climbing by means of elements inserted in the rock that will allow you an easy ascent to the mountain.

- Hiking : outings interpreted to know the natural points of most interest in the area.

All activities will take place between April 1 and October 1, other dates consult.

In addition, at Las Almunias Hostel you can stay and request complementary activities and multi-adventure packages with accommodation included.

At Solo Canyon Canyoning we put all our experience at your service so that you can try this exciting sport or acquire new skills in the Barrancos de la Sierra de Guara .

The activity takes place under the supervision of Paco Burgos, Sports Technician with more than 10 years of experience in the sector.

We have separated the different level courses so that you feel comfortable and can overcome them without great difficulties:

- Initiation : from 7 years old and with no maximum age limit. They can be aquatic or dry and last between 4 and 7 hours. It is suitable for both beginners and people with some previous experience.

- Higher level : these descents are of greater technicality and duration. They are designed for people with optimal physical shape due to the demands of the section to advance.

If you want to spend more than one day with us, you can stay at the same point where our headquarters are located, at the Las Almunias hostel .

In Solo Canyon Hiking we take you to explore the places that surround Las Almunias de Rodellar on guided routes with professional advice.

We approach this activity from several levels to be able to assist you whatever your physical demands are . Depending on the difficulty you will find:

- Level 1 Hiking : it lasts half a day and passes through the hermitages of La Virgen del Castillo and San Martín del Alcanadre, the Cresta del Balded, Huevo de Morrano or Castillo de Naya.

- Hiking Level 2 : although the itinerary does not involve difficulty, it requires a greater physical effort since it covers the whole day. We will pass through the Real de Mascún, the Saltador de las Lañas and we will ascend to Cabezo and Tozal de Guara, among other points.

For stays that exceed one day or to spend a few days off, at Solo Canyon Trekking we offer additional accommodation at the Las Almunias hostel .

With Solo Canyon Vía Ferrata you have the opportunity to get to know the surroundings of the Sierra de Guara from the hand of professionals.

The Via Ferratas in which we practice are routes designed to carry out ascents in the mountains. Its great advantage is that it is followed through elements installed in the rock designed to facilitate progression . In this way, on your way you will find staples, ladders, chains or bridges that will require less effort to continue.

In addition, on a via ferrata you are secured at all times by means of harnesses and ropes. These characteristics make it a suitable modality to practice with the family, including children.

We offer you via ferratas in the Espolón de la Virgen or Peñas Xuntas for groups of maximum 2 people and minimum of 5.
