Our area of activity is the Andévalo, specifically the Sierra Abuela, which is one of its highest peaks. It is an especially beautiful area for excursions, due to its lush pine forests, and the wonderful views that can be enjoyed from up here.

You can also enjoy seeing various specimens of local fauna, such as raptors, or small game animals.

We adapt the duration of the excursions to what you are looking for, in case you prefer a short one, of about two hours, a more complete one, of four hours plus lunch, and even one of two days, which includes meals, accommodation, and a tour in ship.

On this route by boat, we will cross a tunnel carved into the rock, about 25 meters long, to face the Guadiana River, an area where it will be easy to see some of the many black vultures that move along the Sierra Pelada.

We will also observe the Port of La Laja, which is the last navigable point of the Guadiana River. In this area there are many huge silos, where different minerals are stored and prepared to ship. They are the symbol of the economic splendor that the region experienced in another time, mainly with the export of manganese and pyrite.

Villaturs prepares you the best bachelor party that you can imagine in Villanueva de los Castillejos , in the province of Huelva.

We offer you a pack that combines a route on horseback, rural accommodation and a boat trip on the Guadiana River. We will start the evening with a rich breakfast at 09:30 hours. An hour later our magical horseback excursion will take place, after having previously prepared all the equipment.

We will walk for approximately 3 or 4 hours, along the trails that an old mining train once traveled until we reach the crossroads with the Camino de los Calizos. During the journey you will feel like a real miner because you will have the opportunity to complete our abandoned mining town.

We will make a stop in an area enabled to rest, next to the Sardón Station . In this area, not only the minerals from the mines were loaded, but all the collected material was also weighed.
