Monk

Monk is our performing arts camp for children, between 10 and 12 years old and young people until 17 , where we develop their creativity through music, the dance and representation.

It is a campus that takes place at the school premises of the Salamanca old town , in a beautiful location near Tormes. The 2,500 m2 that we have are organized in several spaces to rehearse, watch film projections, read and act. In addition the students will have the best services so that they are comfortable and proceed to their daily cleaning and rest.

Registration can be done for the entire camp, between June 29 and July 15 , or in 9-day shifts. There is also the option for children to come only on an external basis without staying at the Monk residence.
The program we follow is based on these areas:

- Performing Arts : with theater in both Spanish and English, singing and dance classes, learning about the genre of musical through projections and scenography tasks or to be characterized.

- Cinema area : the students will interpret the camera, shoot shorts and music clips and know how to make a script.

- Dance : with all styles, from hip hop to amazing wacking and contemporary dance. We will show you some theatrical acrobatics.

- Music : with workshops of all varieties to reach improvisation and work with the instruments and the body itself.

In addition we will go out to make excursions and visits in which we will know the historical and cultural heritage of Salamanca.
