The team that integrates Birding Holidays is in charge of you getting to know in depth the natural characteristics that identify the North of Extremadura. Specialized in this part of the peninsula, we also accompany you to other parts of the country using our experience in ornithology services and nature tourism.
Among the options for which you can count on us are guided excursions to observe the fauna of the places we pass through, either on foot or by jeep. We can do them for the pure pleasure of sighting for photographic purposes but the environment in which we operate is always respected.
We will leave, according to your requirements, on full-day routes or restricted to a duration of half a day. Although we listen to your proposals, we help you with a selection of locations chosen for the possibility of encountering certain species, without leaving us the architectural value that can be concentrated in the area. Some are:
- The Monfragüe Park : an essential appointment if we want to meet the big birds of prey. We will walk through Mediterranean-type forest on the banks of the Tiétar and the Tagus.
- Los Llanos de Cáceres : made up of extensive fields inhabited by steppe birds such as the bustard or the little bustard.
