Description of Birding Holidays

The team that integrates Birding Holidays is in charge of getting to know in depth the natural characteristics that identify the North of Extremadura. Specialized in this part of the peninsula, we also accompany you through other parts of the country using our experience in ornithology and nature tourism services.

Among the options for which you can count on us are the guided excursions to observe the fauna of the places through which we pass, either on foot or in the SUV. We can do them for the sheer pleasure of sighting for photographic purposes but the environment in which we operate is always respected.

We will leave, according to your requirements, on full-day routes or restricted to a half-day duration. Although we listen to your proposals we help you with a selection of locations chosen for the possibility of meeting certain species, without leaving us the architectural value that can be concentrated in the area. Some are:

- The Park of Monfragüe : appointment indipensable if we want to meet the great raptors. We will walk through Mediterranean forest on the banks of the Tiétar and the Tagus.

- Los Llanos de Cáceres : composed of extensive fields where steppe birds like the bustard or the sisón inhabit.
