It's a Level III Stretch equivalent to a medium level, meaning that the minimum age for this adventure is 12 years old, although, sometimes children who are 10 years old are allowed to join, depending on the child's complexion and courage.

To make the rafting descent we will take advantage of the deep canyon of the Mijares River, which is called the Chillapájaros Strait. The privileged location of this stretch makes Castellón, Valencia o Teruel very close. During your rafting session, you can make different stops to enjoy the native flora and fauna and even to get off of the raft to enjoy jumping from rocks in its more peaceful stretch.

The rafting descent usually lasts half a day, including previous preparation for the activity and the departure. The best time of the year for rafting is from April to November, although if you dare and are not afraid of the cold, you could enjoy the whole year since this stretch of the Mijares river has flow any time of the year.
