North Coast Nautical School we are a navigation school that, for more than 10 years, has been teaching theoretical and practical classes to obtain nautical qualifications.

The courses we teach are:
- Basic navigation pattern: to autonomously govern boats up to 8 meters in length for sailing boats and up to 7.50 m for motor boats. It is also used to control jet skis. All this without going more than 5 miles from a shelter point. We teach face-to-face courses in Gijón and Avilés, which last 2 months, with 4 hours per week.
- Skipper of pleasure boats: to govern pleasure boats of up to 12 m in length, whether sailing or motor, as long as it is done at a maximum of 12 miles from the coast. We teach face-to-face courses in Gijón and Avilés. They are theoretical and practical classes that are given in a course that lasts 2 months, 4 hours per week.
- Yacht skipper: with which you can govern boats up to 20 m in length. They can be sailed or powered, but an area within 60 miles from the coast must be respected, and also to navigate interpeninsularly in the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands. It is also used to control jet skis.
- Yacht Captain: allows you to govern sailing or motor boats without limits.
