Carriles Animación y Aventura

Carriles Sociocultural Initiatives is an association created by young people from Jerez in 2000, with the aim of expanding and promoting the offer of sociocultural programs in the area.

In 2007 Carriles Animación y Aventura was born, which offers, in addition to sociocultural programs, a wide range of active tourism services.

The team of Carriles Sociocultural Initiatives is made up of:

• Social educators
• Pedagogues
• Technicians of different activities
• Monitors

The services they offer are:

• Activities for children: socio-educational actions for children, so that they learn by playing. We organize leisure schools in summer, thematic days, recovery of street games, a program for schools called "El Tardeo", toy libraries, environmental education programs or a program of activities around the city, among others.

• Programs and activities for young people through the "Plural" program, to create youth associations.

• Adventures: camps, introductory courses (climbing, canyoning and caving), Green Weeks, multi-adventure days, team building, archery, hiking, orientation, ...

We are endorsed by the recognition of the Junta de Andalucía for our merits , the Andalucía Joven Cádiz Joven 2007 award, the Fuerza Emprendedora award given in 2009 by the Arcos de la Frontera City Council and the Joven award City of Jerez 2009.

Animation and Adventure Lanes was created in 2007, as a result of a project to increase the offer of leisure and adventure activities in Jerez.

For this, Animation and Adventure Lanes organize activities dedicated to children, youth and adults, to create an environment of integration between them and with the environment. These activities with both cultural and educational and active tourism:

• adventure activities : 6-hour climbing days with the La Veredilla or San Bartolo Climbing School, caving in the VR15 caves in Villaluenga del Rosario or in the Cueva del Susto, canyoning in the Garganta Verde or hiking trails through the Natural Parks of Grazalema and Los Alcornocales.

• Camps : where you can combine adventure activities (hiking, climbing, rappelling, zip line, vertical progression, archery, orientation or games in the natural environment), sports (unihockey, tamburello, pre -basketball, kite paddles, volleyball, basket ball) and animation (Latin dances, cooperation games, gynkanas, night games or workshops).

• Initiation courses : first contact with caving, canyoning or climbing.

• Incentives for companies: wide range of activities to complement company meetings and team building. For this we adapt to the characteristics and needs of each group.

• multi-adventure days: 4 hours or 8 hours. In them you can practice climbing, rappelling, handrails, zip line, archery, ... Depending on the duration of the day, the activities will be developed in one way or another.

• Green Week for training cycles: for higher-level training cycles in Cultural, Physical and Sports Animation

Carriles Sociocultural Initiatives for Children is the part of Carriles Sociocultural Initiatives dedicated to the organization of socio-educational activities for children in Jerez.

In 2000 this association was created with the aim of expanding the existing leisure offer in the area, with a team of professionals such as instructors, physical activity technicians, pedagogues, psychopedagogues and other professionals, who carry out the idea of "Learning by playing",

The activities for children that they offer are:

• "El Tardeo" Program: in the mornings at school, in the afternoons here. Extracurricular activities program, which meets the particular needs of each child and her environment. They offer support plans for families, plans for accompaniment and school extension and a program of other cultures.

• Leisure school in summer: to take care of children in the summer period and that they live a summer in an alternative way, participating in activities that enrich their integral development.

• Playgrounds Carrilitas: for children between 3 and 12 years old. Play spaces where collective playful learning activities are carried out.

• Thematic days with childhood: designed to develop around a specific theme such as Christmas, Book Day, Peace Day, Carnival, Halloween, ...

• Environmental recovery programs: for children to develop respectful attitudes towards the environment. Group dynamics, gynkanas, recycling activities, active tourism activities are carried out, ...

• Recovery of street gambling: intergenerational participation between children and adults.
