Live a different summer with the urban camps of the Novia Salcedo Foundation . We have created technology camps in which children can fully immerse themselves in the science of the future.
If your passion is robots or video games, we have an option for you:
- Kiddybots Week : camp for ages 8 to 12 aimed at creating digital artifacts that are capable of interacting with reality. The basic material we use to make these concepts known are Lego WeDo and Scratch for programming. Traditional Lego pieces are mixed with colored papers and classic materials to bring participants' ideas to life.
- Bots Week : from 10 to 16 years old. We will pose a challenge for robots that students must create and program as if they were engineers. We will provide the necessary equipment to acquire this type of knowledge through Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 technology. They will check the operation of the ultrasonic, touch, light and color sensors and the motion motors.
- Videogames Week : young people between the ages of 10 and 16 will go from playing video games to creating them themselves. We will teach you all the steps that this task requires starting from the creative process. We will promote participation with the Scratch software graphics platform with which students will share their work online so that their classmates can test and improve them.
The camps have English as their first language, with support from Spanish and Basque so that no child gets lost.
The duration of each option is one week from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. in the afternoon.
