Augas Santas

Augas Santas was born in response to a project created by passionate about sliding sports, especially in the water. With this project we are not only trying to enjoy the rider, but to create a mystical fusion with the spectacular environment that surrounds us on the coast of Lugo.

From here Augas Santas offers members, friends and especially practitioners, sports advice, courses and material for the practice of our sport.

Among our water activities the following stand out:

• The Kitesurf with which you can do all kinds of courses, as well as perfect your technique.
• Stand Up Paddle Surf (SUP).

Come with us and we will show you the municipalities of Barreiros and Ribadeo in a totally different way and experience the richness of our coasts through these water sports.

From Augas Santas Kitesurf we bring you this aquatic activity for all levels. Whether you are a novice in the field or if you have already flown. We offer you all kinds of kitesurfing courses depending on your level and needs:

Initiation Course - 1 day :

It is a first-contact course, to get to know it from the inside and see its possibilities.
It lasts 2 hours and in it you can learn the theory of the wind, know the parts of the kite and pilot it. Feeling how you control the wind is something that cannot be defined in words, so we are waiting for you.

Baptism Course - 2 days

It is a first contact with sport. With this course, what it is about is to introduce you to the sport, encourage you to practice it and check the sensation of drag with the help of the wind, we will also teach you to recognize favorable winds, autonomy in the assembly of material, and you will have the first sensations in the water.

This course includes all the necessary material for learning (kite, board, vest, helmet) and the duration time is 8 hours distributed in 2 days to 4 hours per day and a maximum of 4 students per monitor, with which we guarantee the enjoy.

Advanced Course - 4 days

If you consider that you were born to be blown by the wind, this is your course. Sometimes we see that just two days of the course is not enough, that is why we recommend people to opt for this course since not everyone has the same learning facilities and above all, dissociate board and kite.

Improvement Course

This course is aimed at already initiated kiters who need a last push to navigate the seas with autonomy and enjoy nature and the beautiful landscapes that our planet offers you.

Choose your kitesurfing course and decide to take the step to an unbeatable aquatic experience.

It is the opportunity to practice the sport of the already called sport of the millennium. Stand up is a way of gliding with a surfboard and a paddle.

You can learn to row long distances as if you were in a kayak, surf waves of all kinds such as longboard, and sail with a sail as in windsurfing.

Our goal is that our students have a different vision of our wonderful coastline, and that thanks to this they become aware of the great natural wealth existing on the coast of the municipalities of Barreiros and Ribadeo.

For the initiation we use Punta Anguieria and we catch the waves in Playa de Lóngara.

We carry out a personal teaching method and the SUP material is in charge of the school.

From Augas Santas Paddel Surf we invite you to participate in our activities, routes, etc.

Augas SantasCamp are the surf, kitesurf and paddle surf camps that Augas Santas organizes during the summer holidays and Easter. They are camps adapted to all ages and levels, all of them directed by our qualified instructors who will be in charge of the planned lessons each day of stay at the camp.

During these camps, lasting approximately one week, the chosen sport is practiced both in the morning and in the afternoon, with the afternoon session being free, to put into practice what was learned in the morning.

In addition, other adventure activities or combination with courses of other water sports are included.

These camps are held in Barreiros, an exceptional area for practicing this type of sports.
