Branquias Centro de Buceo

Branquias is a Carboneras diving center that organizes dives along the entire coastline of the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park . In addition, we carry out maritime excursions through some of the most outstanding coves in the area.

We are a diving school where we offer initiation diving experiences and specialized courses (Open Water diver, Advanced Adventurer, Advanced Open Water diver ...). If you are looking for a first contact with scuba diving ( Diving baptism) , this is your place!

We have been teaching diving for 21 years in the fantastic protected area of the i sla de San Andrés (Natural Monument).

And if you have already had a first dive and would like to obtain a title that allows you to be self-sufficient underwater, in Branquias you can obtain from the Open Water Diver to the Divemaster or courses technicians (Rescue, underwater archeology ...)

For the most professionals , we do dives in privileged places, in protected areas that stand out for their abundant life and variety in their depths.

We also carry out other types of water activities, such as sailing routes through Cabo de Gata, snorkeling and we organize Multiadventure packs .

At Branquias Diving Center you can do any diving course you can imagine, from baptisms to the most professional ones and all of this in an idyllic environment such as the island of San Andrés.

- For those who do not want complications, just enjoy the bottom of the sea, we have the best material for snorkeling and practicing a little apnea.

- If you want to know what it feels like to dive with a bottle at a depth of between 2 and 4 meters, we have the most complete baptism courses on the Almerian coast.

- The Open Water Diver course is the first step to become an autonomous diver and dive up to 18 meters deep.

- If you can't stop, the next step is the Advanced Open Water Diver and the Advanced Adventurer course, where you will perfect techniques and learn others for your development in the sea.
- For those who are one step ahead, we do professional courses such as night diving, buoyancy or enriched air among others.

- Stress and Rescue and Rescue Diver will allow you to solve problems when you are diving and help others.

- Primary care and rescue courses are also very practical for passionate divers.

- And if you want to be the one who teaches others to dive, we teach Divemaster courses.

- All our courses are PADI and SSI, which have great international recognition.

- We give you all the material necessary to complete the course.

In Branquias Diving Center we have an incredible sailboat with which anyone who wants to sail can embark and get to know the fantastic coastline of the Cabo de Gata - Níjar Natural Park.

If you have never sailed on a sailboat, you will be amazed at the sensations that the waves, the air and even the reaction of the sail to the currents provide. Living this experience is already something remarkable, so if you also add the views that we are going to contemplate with spectacular coves and cliffs, it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable memory.

The starting point that we usually take for our outings is Carboneras, and from there the journey will take us along the coast, observing, among others, Playa de los Muertos or Cala del Plomo. Throughout the tour, the explanations about the geography of the place as well as about the animals and plants that we meet will be worthy of being listened to carefully.
