In the Canal de Castilla we have all the necessary facilities to develop various outdoor activities such as boat trips, kayaking or canoeing .
The canal, built in the 18th century during the Enlightenment, was intended to commercially connect Castilla with the northern ports. Its large dimensions currently allow us to reuse these facilities for recreational use.
It is located in an unbeatable natural setting where you can enjoy a beautiful landscape that has become the habitat of many species. Without a doubt, nature in its purest form.
If you visit our headquarters we will be happy to provide you with information about the activities that you can do on our channel. If you prefer, you can also rent the material to develop these activities on your own and thus set your own pace. We also have information on the surrounding towns, an alternative to finish off a family day out.

The kayak is a type of canoe destined for the sports world and that has been built with a very light material. It has an opening in the center that is covered for greater user comfort. To move, it is necessary to carry out a pushing force with the paddles. Are you ready?
The starting point is the Canal de Castilla basin, from there you can follow the course of the water and contemplate the surroundings from a different point of view. If you make a little effort, you can get to the locks and enjoy the natural landscape, the habitat of many species.
The kayaks can be single or two-seater , we will provide one according to your needs. It is essential that you bring comfortable clothes and waterproof shoes. Do not forget to bring a bottle of water and something to eat, you will need it.
Once on land we can provide you with information to carry out other activities or visit other points of tourist interest. Ask us without obligation and we will provide you with documentation.

Gather a few friends and come rent one of our boats to enjoy a ride. In addition, it is a very enjoyable way to exercise and tour the area. You will see the contrast between landscapes, you will know the locks and you will have beautiful panoramic views of the area.
The canoes can be double or single, you choose. The little ones can also participate in this adventure, there is no age limit! Of course, the canoe rental is only made from April to September .
It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing and waterproof sneakers. Don't forget to bring a small backpack with water to hydrate yourself and something to eat in case your hunger strikes you.

At Canal Castilla we want you to enjoy the entire landscape that surrounds us and to do so in an original and different way. For this reason, we have prepared a boat trip through the entire canal , the only navigable one in all of Spain. You can navigate its waters while admiring the beautiful environment that surrounds us.
The boat, known as the Antonio Ulloa Boat , departs from the canal's dock. It has 52 places of which some are equipped for people with mobility problems. It consists of lighting, air conditioning and heating and also has several services, such as a small bar and a toilet.
