Club Naútico Portonovo

Club Naútico Portonovo is a company dedicated to nautical activities. We focus on two main activities which are diving and sailing .

As for diving, we teach classes at two different levels: one for initiation with which you can make dives up to 20 meters deep and, a second offer, in which you will learn to dive up to 40 meters . To take the second, it is necessary to have the title that proves having passed the first of the courses. With this official qualification, which we will provide you with the courses, you will be able to go out on your own to do dives.

We also give you the possibility of making your diving baptism . To do it, it is not necessary to have any prior knowledge, you just have to be over 12 years old. After your first dive we assure you that you will not be able to stop diving.

As regards sailing we give 20-hour courses, especially in the months of July and August. We mainly target a young audience in order to create a quarry that, who knows, could compete in official regattas.

Club Naútico Portonovo proposes you to get started in the world of diving by attending our classes. We have two different course offers for you to choose the one that best suits your needs.

The first course, called 1 star diver , is designed so that students can dive on their own to a depth of 20 meters. Both theoretical and practical classes are given for the total and correct learning of the management of the equipment and protocols to follow once the immersion is carried out.

The second course or 2-star diver prepares you to dive independently to a depth of 40 meters underwater. Night diving classes are included in this course. Do not forget that in order to take it you must be in possession of the course described above.

At Club Naútico Portonovo we also offer you the possibility of doing your diving baptism . This consists of taking a person's first dive. They can be done by children from 12 years old and no previous knowledge is necessary. With a duration of four hours, you will live a unique experience that, without a doubt, you will want to repeat again.

We also carry out group diving trips to which you can come whenever you want. We will provide you with all the necessary equipment to carry out the dive. You just have to come and prepare to spend a day observing the deep sea.

Club Naútico Portonovo has launched a sailing school to promote this sport among young people.

Our goal is to bring them closer to the nautical world and learn to love it as much as we do. Perhaps we can create a pool of young people to go out and participate in the great variety of sailing regattas that are organized both in our surroundings and in the rest of Spain.

The courses will be held mainly during the months of July and August. In this way, your children will have a different and fun summer, while learning a new and exciting sport.

Our instructors are all navigation professionals, so they will give the best training to our students.

With a duration of 20 hours, we guarantee that at the end of the course you will be able to go sailing on your own.
