For this reason we want anyone who comes to Asturias to get to know the most important areas in a pleasant way, so that your experience is totally unforgettable.

We organize many activities focused on both solo travelers and groups, family or friends. Thanks to all of them you will be able to know and enjoy both on land and in the sea or rivers.

With our excursions you can visit places as beautiful as Covadonga or the Villas Marineras Balleneras. Or enjoy our outing to taste the best cider!

Inside the sea you can dedicate yourself to doing the most fun water sports and activities. The Paddle Surf or the Flyboard are some of them. Adrenaline or tranquility sailing through the waters, you choose!

The kayaks will be another way to enjoy and even more so if you come with your family, as we have some quadruple kayaks in which the little ones can travel.

In addition, we have various boats for you to walk around, reach coves where you can bathe in a relaxed way, dive and everything you want to do in the sea, always accompanied by a skipper so you don't have to worry about the journey.
But in the rivers you can also have a great time. Surely you dare with the Descent of the Sella River or learn to control the canoes with our courses.

Rafting and Canyoning will be other options that the bravest will enjoy, and you will not have to bring the material as we will give it to you.

In the mountains, hiking will be ideal for you to get to know nature and the environment that surrounds us. We have many outings: the Picos de Europa, Sierra del Cuera, Taranes... depending on the day of the week the excursion will be different, consult each one! And if instead of going on foot you want to ride a bike, then don't miss our MTB routes.

Caving will be another of the activities that we offer you, so that you can get to know the wonders of the Pando or La Huelga caves, among others.

If you love to feel adrenaline, then you will surely enjoy Canyoning very much.

At gijónAventura we prepare two outings a day , so you can come in the morning or if you prefer in the afternoon.

The departure time will depend on the place of departure: at 9:30 or 15:30 from a Finca in Arriondas , or at 9:45 and 15:45 from Cangas de Onís . But you should always keep in mind that half an hour before you will start to equip yourself.

You can choose between 3 guns according to your level, as each one has a different difficulty. Vallegon and Carangas are of low difficulty and the Viboli is of medium difficulty.

You can enjoy Canyoning for 2 or 2 and a half hours and we will deliver the material to you, but you must bring the appropriate footwear, such as hiking boots.

Although you will always be with a monitor that will guide and help you, it is very important that you know how to swim.

Divided into groups of 8 to 9 people you will descend the canyons, overcome slopes and have a great time jumping into pools or on the water slides. Swimming, climbing and also hiking. One activity that encompasses everything!

One of the most exciting experiences that you can live in Asturias is descending the Sella and a magnificent way is to do it in our canoes .

For this it does not matter what day you come, because you can do it as long as the weather conditions are suitable.

GijónAventura wants to offer you outings to make this descent. Starting from our facilities near the river, you can come between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to enjoy this experience.

Although there is no maximum limit, the journey usually lasts 3 or 4 hours and you must come with sports and comfortable clothes, as you will be sitting in the canoe for a long time.

In addition to the boat, in which you can go one or two people , we will provide you with the life jacket , and if it is cold that day a wetsuit and also a raincoat.

You do not need to have gone up in a canoe before, because with the explanations that you will receive from our monitor before entering the river you will know what to do during the journey.

You can choose between 3 pick-up zones , one at 7, another at 11 and another at 16 kilometers and when you finish, we will take care of transferring you to the starting point.

The little ones can come with you to enjoy the canoes in this activity, being at least 5 years old . While you paddle you will observe the landscapes that the road between Arriondas and Llovio offers you. It will be an unforgettable day on the river!

Once you have tried the Flyboard , we are sure that you will want to repeat. For this reason, at gijónAventura , we want you to start enjoying it right now!

The most complicated thing may be to keep your balance while you are rising thanks to the water that comes out of two jets from under your board, but surely you will be able to master it in no time. Then enjoy! Jumps, pirouettes ... it will be 15 minutes in the air that you will not forget.

Flights can be made individually , with a partner , or in groups of 3 to 5 people . In the latter case, you can choose between Paddle Surf or kayaking as an extra activity to complete the excitement of the day. Double the fun!

We will make a small trip in our boat to get to the place where we will make Flyboard. A professional monitor will always accompany you and their presence and explanations will make you feel more secure. In addition, you will be well protected with helmet, vest and neoprene while you practice this activity.

The Bay of Gijón will be the place where you can come if you want to try how much fun it is to navigate in kayaks .

The activity does not require preparation, so it is great to do with the family. You will have a great time if you decide to navigate in a single kayak , but in the doubles you will share the adventure. And it will be better if you do it in the triple or quadruple ! In the latter you can go two adults with two children. The kids will enjoy the sea like never before.

If you rent our kayaks, for 1 hour you can have them. We will also provide you with a thermal lycra, a life jacket and a monitor will be watching over you at all times.

We have two routes for you to choose the one you like the most. In both cases they are outings of about 3 hours and are designed for groups of more than 5 people. The routes will be along the beach, one through San Lorenzo and the other through Playa Poniente and El Arbeyal .

Departures will take place at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. For each excursion you will have the material and a monitor will guide you.

At gijónAventura we want you to enjoy Paddle Surf , one of the water sports that is getting more followers.

Due to the simplicity of its execution, everyone can enjoy it without having experience.

We have various courses and modalities, such as the Paddle Flat Waters or the Open Waters . In both cases you will enjoy Paddle Surf for 2 hours , with the board and the paddle.

In addition, you will also wear a thermal lycra or neoprene. Our monitors s will accompany you and provide you with the important knowledge that you must have clear to get on the SUP board.

But in addition to this, you can also come to our excursions . We will paddle surf for about 4 or 5 hours and depending on the route we take we can transfer you to certain places by boat. Ask us for the details!

And to practice at your own pace, then simply rent the material for 2 or 3 hours, or if you prefer the whole day. You will not lack time for fun! In any case, you can always count on the help of a monitor in case you have doubts.

But if you are a large group then you have to come and try the Big SUP . Being all uploaded at the same time on the big board you will have plenty of laughter and fun. A unique experience!

Going out sailing by boat will allow you to live great experiences at sea. In addition to walking enjoying the sea breeze, the sun and the waves, you can also get on the boats to fishing or head towards a cove to bathe.

With gijónAventura we want you to come and create these tours in our boats . These are a boat, an inflatable and a cabin boat and with them you can enjoy any of these experiences.

You can have them for several hours , 1, 2 or 4. During that time you will only have to enjoy the high seas, without worrying about anything, as a professional skipper will be the in charge of directing these routes.

On the boat you can go up to 6 people . Choose your companions! The trip will be unforgettable whether you go with your friends or family.

The departure will take place in Gijón, in its Marina. Once at sea, we will sail towards the Bay of Gijón and if you wish we can arrive at the ports of Luanco or Candás .

GijónAventura aims to give all lovers of canoeing the opportunity to train in Asturias and enjoy this sport in its different modalities.

With our courses, taught by professionals trained at the Community's canoeing school, you will learn the important theoretical part of canoeing that you will then put into practice.

You will learn the material, how to use the paddle, the position in the boat, displacements to the sides, maneuvers and techniques in waves and safety, Among many other things. You will become canoeing experts!

The places where we will sail will be the Cantabrian Sea or the Sella River. The duration of these classes will be 5 hours that we will distribute between two days and will be focused on those people who have some type of previous experience or short course initiation.

Each instructor will control a maximum of 5 students and you can choose to specialize in Eskimo surfing, kayaking, surfing or sea kayaking, whitewater and, of course, competitive canoeing.

Any day of the year will be perfect to start, so apply for a place... and enjoy!

If you want to enjoy the river and at the same time feel strong emotions, then Rafting is your activity.

With gijónAventura you can come to make these outings by different rivers and depending on the months of the year we will move through one or the other.

Between March and October we will go out through the Sella River and the Cares River . In the first section we will reach the Dobra river and in the Cares river we will sail until we reach Trescares.

From February 16 to November 15, the Rafting will take place on the Deva River , ending in Puentellés, and between June and September we will move through the Esla River , for Riaño. Ask us the departure times for each one!

The duration of the crossings will depend on the flow, being able to be between 1 and 2 hours enjoying the experience.

It is important that you know how to swim and that you bring a t-shirt and swimsuit. You will have a bib and neoprene booties , raincoat, helmet, vest, as well as the company and supervision of a guide .

You will descend the rivers inside the boat thanks to the force of its waters and the movement of the blades, and in them you can go between 6 and 8 people.

If going out to enjoy the outdoors by bicycle is something you like to do regularly, then during your visit to Asturias you have to come and experience our BTT routes .

Any day of the year we can go out, starting the excursion in Arriondas at 9:00 or 15 minutes later in Cangas de Onís.

During 2 or 3 hours you will pedal , but to this we must add the transport time to the place where we will leave.

We have 40 bicycles and we will give you a helmet for your protection along the way. You can freely rent mountain bikes for your paths or come to our organized routes , which have part of the mountain and part of the road.

The Picos de Europa , different trails , paths along the coast , the Cantabrian Mountains or routes mountain , will be some of the places that you can enjoy. These routes have different levels , but it is advisable that you have a minimum physical condition.

A professional guide will accompany you on any of our 7 prepared outings , departing from Cangas de Onís, Següencu, Mirador del Fitu, Ribadesella, San Antolín or Arriondas. Or if you prefer, contact us and we will prepare the route you want.

With gijónAventura you can enjoy this experience, choosing to come in the morning, at 9:00 a.m. or in the afternoon at 6:00 p.m.

You can choose between entering Pando Cave , in Ribadesella, or La Huelga , in Cangas de Onís. Although we can always move through other areas of Asturias, specifically in its eastern part.

Inside the cave we will be up to 1 hour and a half , but regardless of this, the travel before and before the activity must be counted within the full time.

Remember to bring appropriate clothes and shoes , as well as another change to change at the end, if you wish, in our changing rooms. You will have the rest of the material here for you: front and carbides .

Our guide will accompany you and explain the entire route, distinguishing every detail inside the cave, such as stalagmites and stalactites.

If we leave from Arriondas we will start at 9:00, while we will leave at 9:15 if we start the excursion in Cangas de Onís .

We have different routes in which we will move through the Picos de Europa area, even reaching the coast in some of them.

The tours usually last between 2 and 3 hours , it will depend on the departure. Our guide will go with you to explain everything you will see, learning about vegetation and fauna. Full experience!

Comfortable clothing and footwear will be essential, since we will move through different terrain.

The Sierra del Cuera, del Sueve, the Picos de Europa, Taranes, the Mirador de Ordiales, Mofrechu, Covadonga, etc. will be some of the places you can visit, everything will depend on the day of the week. Ask us about the possibilities we can offer you!

We organize various excursions . An indispensable one is the one in which we go to Covadonga. Every Thursday we start this road leaving from Gijón. During the tour, a guide will accompany you explaining every detail you see as well as the history of the place.

The Basilica of Covadonga is one of the places to visit, as well as the Santa Cueva . For a while you can enjoy yourself.

The Lakes of Covadonga , Cangas de Onís or Ribadesella will also make you fall in love during your visit. We will return at around 6:30 p.m. to the departure point.

On Wednesdays we have another destination in mind, the Villas Marineras Whaleneras . Each Villa has a special charm, so our guide will take you to the most important points. We will also leave from Gijón, going first to Villa de Luarca . The next destination will be Puerto de Vega , where you will learn about its fishing tradition.

Cudillero or Cabo Vidio will be other places you want to visit. The wonderful landscapes and the Cantabrian Sea will leave you an incredible memory.

You will all enjoy these outings very much, with your family or friends , but for this do not forget to bring comfortable clothes and shoes. We can adapt to you, so it does not matter if you are a small or large group.
