La Casa del Río strives to share with you fantastic sporting and cultural experiences in the Benasque Valley, among the highest Pyrenean peaks.

In the town of Castejón de Sos there is an aerodrome from which we organize flights of all types. We have here one of the best areas to fly in all of Spain.

Fly with us on:

• Ultralight: Small planes that will take us throughout the valley seeing the imposing peaks of Aneto, Posets or Maladeta.

• Paragliding: We fly in this very light device that produces a great sensation of floating through the air.

We have the most entertaining and exciting river courses for practicing descent, the Ara and Ésera rivers.

Complete offer to go down in a group, either with friends or as a family, half or full day inrafting, canoes, kayaks and hydrospeed. You can also practice fishing as a quieter alternative.

We do canyoning in the best Pyrenean settings: Sierra de Guara y Ordesa and Monte Perdido.

Skiing is the best option when everything is covered in snow with the 76 skiable km of the Cerler ski resort.

In the Gállego and Cinca rivers, which bathe some of the Pyrenean valleys of Huesca, sport fishing is an activity that provides a high relaxation while you enjoy the high mountain landscapes of the Aragonese Pyrenees.

In this river we use fly fishing, a typical modality in rivers and lakes in which we use a lure to bite the fish and thus catch it.

We will show you the secrets of this fishing, being able to catch good specimens of pike and trout in the waters of the Gállego and Cinca, which in spring flow with a generous flow.

To improve your fishing technique we have specialized courses that will provide you with numerous knowledge about this world, including tactics used in fishing competitions.

Between spring and autumn is the best time to practice fishing in these river courses.

The white waters that flow through the Benasque Valley are the perfect place to go down them riding a duckie or inflatable canoe. These are very safe, stable boats with great maneuverability.

Along the Ésera River and throughout the Benasque valley we will avoid rapids, waterfalls, and small waterfalls that will quickly lead us to Campo.

From April to October is the best time to get on the canoe, since it is when the Ésera River carries more water due to the thaw.

The complete descent including transfers takes about 2 hours.

If you know how to swim, you can go down in a duckie or canoe from the age of 14.

We do not ask for previous experience but we do ask for an adequate physical level to withstand the onslaught of water and rowing.

We will give you the wetsuit with all the rest of the necessary material before getting on the canoe.

Feel the fury of the young white waters of the Ésera River, in the Benasque Valley, while you paddle in your kayak, fighting to remain stable on a dizzying journey .

Our 2 and 3-seater kayaks are very dynamic and easily manageable boats that do not require exhaustive knowledge.

The activity monitor will explain some basic driving guidelines and we will jump into the water while he directs the journey.

It is advisable to navigate the Ésera between April and October when its channel drops with more water.

We offer two descent options to enjoy kayaks:

• Half-day routes: Long descent to the municipality of Campo in about 3 hours.

• Full-day course: Course to become an expert in white water, learning all the elements that help to master it.

It is essential to be over 16 years old and know how to navigate the water with ease.

TheOrdesa y Monte Perdido National Park or the Sierra de Guara Natural Park are enclaves where canyoning is one of the star activities. Its spectacular ravines full of holes through which to sneak through pose a challenge that we have to accept.

The ravines of the Sierra de Guara are possibly among the most overwhelming that you can find in Spanish geography. There are many different routes, each with the rock shapes that characterize these places.

InOrdesa and Monte Perdido the Añisclo canyon also offers strong emotions and unique views of the rock formations produced by the capricious erosion of water over time.

In both areas the canyons are divided into 3 levels of difficulty, from the initiation that involves a baptism of canyoning, through the intermediate level to the most technical and adventurous.

The approach to the ravines can be long, which, together with the passage through the ravine and its exit, extends the day for much of the day.

From the age of 8 you can practice canyoning in special sections for children.

Welcome to one of the star sports of the high Pyrenean mountains, rafting down the Ara and Ésera rivers. The rapid currents of these two river courses will take the entire group sideways. next to the river, not stopping bouncing and splashing each other with water.

Using pneumatic rafts provided with bridles that secure us to the boat, we will prepare to launch down the river on a very rewarding group day.

The rafting descent is divided between:

• Ara River: The most explosive and fastest river in the Pyrenees in Ordesa and Monte Perdido. Levels IV and V in its river course ensure strong emotions, between May and June, when its flow is appropriate. From 18 years old, duration of the activity of 3 hours.

• Ésera River: From Campo in the Benasque valley, we start with comfortable levels to pick up the pace as we go down. In summer its waters allow us to take a dip. 3 hours of descent. From 13 years of age.

We have special plans also as an alternative to traditional descents:

• Family rafting: For the whole family to enjoy rafting on the Ésera River. Children from 3 years old. We will cross the least intricate part of the river stopping halfway to swim and play in the water.

• All-day rafting: Full day on the Ésera River. A total of 6 hours along its channel, stopping for lunch and rest. Minimum 13 years of age.

All the facilities will be provided for you by our team as well as the material composed of the neoprene suit, helmet, footwear, vest, etc.

Leave the conventional and go down the river through the Pyrenean waters of the Ésera riding a water sled or hydrospeed. No downhill boat generates as much adrenaline as this one in which you will have the opportunity to make the most risky turns and surf the currents of the Ésera.

Dressed with fins on your feet you will propel yourself easily avoiding obstacles for 2 hours.

The two-seater flight in paragliding allows us to feel free in the sky while we delight our eyes with the most beautiful perspectives of the Benasque Valley and its peaks of more than 3,000 meters such as Aneto, Posets or La Maladeta.

We start from the town of Castejón de Sos, in the final part of the valley and we go up it for a tour of 2 hours in total, counting on the necessary transfers.

Accompanied paragliding by the instructor you will feel totally safe and you will be able to relax and glimpse what you have at your feet.

At any time of the year, whether the valley is covered in snow or the greenery of the forests, you can go paragliding from the age of 8.

We transfer you from the company to the take-off and landing places.

Fly in a modern ultralight through the Benasque Valley contemplating the spectacular peaks of the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park with peaks of more than 3,000 meters above sea level. The calm winds of this valley make very pleasant and pleasant flights possible through this Pyrenean region.

We use ultralights with highlysilent engines and with enough power to reach great heights and fly at a cruising speed that will take us to many points in the valley.

An approximate time of 20 minutes in an ultralight is the duration of the flight.

We take off from Castejón de Sos, at the beginning of the Benasque valley, and from the Aramón-Cerler ski resort.

The Aramón Cerler ski resort is located in the heart of the Benasque Valley, between peaks that far exceed 3,000 meters in height and on slopes where Skiing is a real delight. Up to 76 km skiable with a large number of slopes of all levels.

From a minimum elevation of 1,500 meters the station reaches an altitude of 2,630 meters covering all these marked tracks:

• 7 green slopes

• 16 blue slopes

• 25 red clues

• 14 black clues

In addition to conventional skiing we have an offer of special slopes made up of:

At Cerler you can learn to ski with us if you haven't gotten on skis yet or improve your level and be encouraged to go down more difficult slopes. The best teachers will teach you in our ski school.

We also advise you on the most suitable material for you as well as other questions you may have.

Our paintball field in the Benasque Valley hosts the most fun battles of this game that consists of shooting down your rival with balls of biodegradable paint. High mountain paintball in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Using the marker guns that we will give you, you will have to organize yourself with your team and have an appropriate tactic in order to finish off the opposing team.

The objectives and the way of playing may vary and there is a long list of paintball modalities that you can choose from. From team games to other individual games.

The paint from the balls does not leave a stain on clothing and its impact only causes a few bruises in the worst case. The protections prevent blows in delicate places.

You must be at least 16 years old to play paintball.

Riding a buggie you can cross the mountain roads of the Benasque Valley being in contact with nature at all times. Its open structure without a closed roof allows you to feel the environment around you much better.

The buggie is easy to handle, it only has two gears, forward and reverse. Its structure makes it very difficult to overturn and it has enough power to overcome all kinds of obstacles.

You need to be in possession of a driving license to drive the buggies.

These vehicles will take us throughout the mountain, traveling through the forests, streams and slopes of the Benasque valley with total ease and enjoying a very fun drive.

We divide our offer into:

• Routes in 1-seater buggies for 1 hour.

• Routes in single-seater buggies lasting 3 hours.

• Routes in 2-seater buggies lasting 1 hour.

• Routes in 2-seater buggies lasting 3 hours.

For the 3-hour routes we also organize a meal in the countryside with the best sausage and meat in the area to regain strength and share the experience.

At La Casa del Río we organize wine tourism days in which we bring you closer to the production process of the region's wines such as Somontano, designation of origin of Huesca.

We do wine routes through various wineries as well as tastings in which we will taste the various existing modalities depending on the production process.

The visits to the wineries are guided by people who work there and who know the entire process perfectly.
