Marco Abella is a winery belonging to the Marco family. We are located in the town of Porrera, in Tarragona. The winery was founded in 2001 with a clear objective: to make wines that transmit the essence and authenticity of the town of Porrera.
We are always very respectful of nature and the environment. We are based on organic farming. We practice biodynamic agriculture and its latest techniques.
We benefit from the Priorat Designation of Origin, one of the smallest regions with D.O..
We produce between 50,000 and 80,000 bottles a year. We have 1,500m2 of facilities dedicated to wine. We monitor humidity and temperature to get the most out of the grapes.
We have 30 hectares of vineyards. We have 3 terroirs in Porrera and three more in Gratallops.
We grow native varieties (cariñena, garnatxa) and other varieties (Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Macabeu and Garnatxa Blanca).
