La Partacua

In an impressive valley at the foot of the Escarra, Tres Hombres and Tarmañones peaks, furrowing along the Escarra river, and in the middle of the Escarra and Tramacastilla reservoirs, the bottom station of La Partacua , which has a modern treadmill and tracer machine, also a booth with services and equipment rental.

The breadth of the valley, allows to trace, without difficulty, up to 45 Kms. of footprint, although usually 20 or 25 kms are drawn. The station also has a training track for dog sleds.

The tracks are located between the municipalities of Tramacastilla, Escarrilla and Sandiniés, between the heights of 1,700 and 1,900 meters, allowing the visitor to glide through a magnificent meadow, crossing the river, bordering the reservoirs and in an impressive landscape beauty.

The La Partacua cross-country ski resort, located in the Tena Valley, opened its tracks for the first time in the 1999-00 season, demonstrating that it can become one of the most important Spanish cross-country ski resorts.
