Pilot for a day on the Costa Brava for 1 hour

Live the experience of flying a plane while enjoying the best landscapes of the Costa Brava! We know that your curiosity is piqued and you want to experience first-hand what it feels like to pilot an aircraft, and for this reason, we have prepared this impressive experience for you. Ready?

You will find us at the Empuriabrava aerodrome, where we have our Cessna 172 aircraft. Our flight instructor with years of experience will be waiting for you there with everything ready for your arrival. Before starting the flight, he will teach you through a theory session on piloting how to use the controls of the plane, the aerodynamics and to understand how the plane works.

Once the class is over, you will be given the headphones through which you will be communicating throughout the flight. And to fly! You will take off to be able to fly over the beautiful Costa Brava for 1 hour. You can choose between these two routes to live your experience flying in a small plane:

• Leaving the aerodrome, you will head to La Selva de Mar, passing through Panoramar, the coast of El Pas and Platja de Les Clisques to enter the magnificent Mediterranean. You will go towards La Meda de Terra, where you will continue towards Cala Corquell until Racó del Boc. Once there, you will descend the coast passing by El Golfet and crossing Punta del Molí. You will continue to Illa del Caralló, passing through Punta dels Tres Frares and Illa s'Encalladora to reach Cabo de Creus. Finally, you will skirt the coast passing through Punta Prima, to reach the Roses Lighthouse and the Aiguamolls del Empodra Natural Park. From there you will return to the airfield.

• This other route puts Platja de s'Alqueria as its first destination, in order to enter the Mediterranean Sea and go down Illa de Portlligat to Punta de s'Oliguera, Punta des Caials and Punta des Bou Marí. You will cross the Bay of Cadaqués until you reach Punta Falconera and thus fly over the coast of Empuriabravadescending along the entire Gulf of Roses. You will reach the Medes Islands, where you will enter the Montgrí Massif and the Aiguamolls del Empodrá Natural Park until you reach the aerodrome again.

When the instructor sees you prepared, it will be the moment in which you will become a pilot for a day. An experience you can never forget. You will take control of the controls and, with the help of the flight instructor, you will steer the aircraft.
