River route through the Canchos de Ramiro in the Tagus

Discover the majestic and spectacular birds who live in the nature reserve of El Tajo on board of a riverboat tour which will take you across the waters of Alcántara reservoir, and the natural surroundings of Canchos de Ramiro y Ladronera.

On board of our small vessel, you and up to 5 passengers will enjoy a 4-hour tour during which you and your family or your partner, will be able to admire the local inhabitants and flora of this natural environment. 

Our guide will point at and show you the many vulture nests that decorate the immense rocks that we will encounter on our way, the eagles which will fly over your heads during the ride, or he so characteristic black stork. 

We will at your disposal binoculars and any other bird-watching equipment that you might want to use to observe the natural spectacle of the presence of the griffon and Egyptian vultures and the red kites in their natural habitat. 

The tour will also include picnic featuring some of the most popular local products, or an aperitif with some refreshments and a snack at a restaurant by the banks of the river Tajo.
