Boat trip and snorkeling for children in Formentera

If you as an adult you love spending a day sailing, wait to see the faces of your little ones when you tell them the great plan you have for Formentera: a boat trip traveling 4 one of the most impressive coves and islands that our particular Mediterranean paradise gives us, being able to jump into the water with the snorkel equipment and discover a whole parallel world.

We will embark according to the chosen time from La Savina, to the north of the island and belonging to l'Estany des Peix, from the port that connects Formentera with another of the best known islands from the Balearic archipelago: Ibiza. The schedules can be from 9 in the morning or 3 in the afternoon, you decide.

The maritime excursion is carried out aboard a semi-rigid boat of 8 meters, with a 250 hp engine, awning, refrigerator, shower... everything you need to navigate at shallow depth and do just what what we are up to... stop at the most spectacular coves and snorkel through them!

We will make the first stop at Isla de Espalmador, a spectacular enclave with natural pools and a pinkish-coloured beach that the whole family will love and where we will be for approximately 1 hour. We will continue to Cala del Moro, an emerald-colored marine park where you will be amazed to see the amount of marine life that resides there.

After 40 minutes of diving and sun, we will go to Las Cuevas, only suitable for those who are not satisfied with the outer face of a place that will leave you speechless. You can swim with us to the inside of the cave until you reach an impressive blue cliff bathed in natural sunlight.

The last destination where our boat will take us will be the bay of Cala Saona, a must stop but no less spectacular for that, especially due to the contrast between the turquoise sea and the cliff reddish.

Between each cove we are separated by about 10 minutes so it is not a long journey, much less if we take into account that each landscape that we will enjoy is a spectacle in itself.

We take care of the snorkelling equipment and wetsuit if necessary, but we advise you to come with flip-flops or a similar type of shoe that can get wet, in addition to anything that you may need.

The smallest of the family will never expect this surprise in the middle of the sea.
