Canyoning Ribeira dos Caldeirões children 3h

The little ones are constantly looking for adventure. They cannot stop exploring the world for a single second, which makes this activity the ideal alternative for you to enjoy a different activity with your family during your vacation in the Azores . It is a day of canyoning lasting about 3 hours in the Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões .

You will meet the monitor in this park, located in the Achada parish. When the group is assembled, the entire canyoning equipment will be left with you and we will go to the river for a short walk. Once there, a brief briefing will be given on the development of the activity and the security measures that you must respect.

This activity is perfect for children. They will turn the east of the island of São Miguel into their private playground. They will enjoy nature overcoming different obstacles such as water slides, jumps from the top of waterfalls and small sections of climbing.

For an optimal development of the activity, it would be recommended that you of course bring a bottle of water, but also sunscreen, a lycra shirt, and for several people, at least one hermetic bag or backpack where to store the mobile phone and other belongings of value that cannot get wet.
