Exercise, adrenaline and nature, there is no better combination. The adventure begins with our canyoning activity along the Ilhéus Medio section.

5 hours of fun guaranteed where you will exercise your whole body in the middle of nature.

We will begin by walking the path that connects Ponta Delgada with Ponta Ruiva to then cross some of the waterfalls of this wonderful enclave until we reach the point where we will begin the descent through the ravines of Santa Cruz das Flores.

We will end the tour next to the ruins of an old water mill where you can take a well-deserved rest by bathing in the natural pools of this amazing Biosphere reserve.

The descent can be done with rappels of different lengths, we have 8. And if you like extreme emotions this activity is for you because we have a rappel of 45 meters!

The difficulty of this activity is mainly in the hiking route that we do before reaching the areas where we do canyoning. Once in the ravines you decide the difficulty by choosing the length of the rappel that gives you the most safety.

Our team will wait for you at Casa del Pueblo de Ponta Delgada to give you a brief informative talk about the activity procedure and basic safety notions.

And before starting we will provide you with the essential technical and safety material to practice canyoning.
