Medium level canyoning in the Varziela river, 4h

If you want to do canyoning and choose the Peneda-Gerês National Park as your setting, let us tell you that you could not have chosen a better place. On this occasion we would like to suggest you descend the lower part of the Varziela River, a medium-level ravine in which we will spend about 4 hours.

During the descent, we will cross natural pools with crystalline waters, spectacular waterfalls , we will jump from cliffs... and all this with the Castillo by Castro Laboreiro in the background. We will do a 40-meter rappel guide, but don't worry, our expert instructors in canyoning will be with you at all times.

Undoubtedly, this stretch of the Varziela River will be a most interesting challenge. To do so, you must be over 14 years of age.

From our facilities it is only a 5-minute walk to the river, so we will provide you with all the necessary material, as well as a small briefing before leaving. When we finish the ravine, we will have to walk about 30 minutes back to the canyoning center. In our facilities you can make use of our changing rooms and our showers if you wish.
