Guided tour of Guadix and Gorafe for adults 7h

Granada is a land of enchantment, a stage for visits to each of its corners where centuries of history are hidden. Our goal is to take advantage of the beauty of Granada with one of our guided tours that this time will take us to Guadix and the Gorafe Geopark, a tour of about 7 hours that we will do with the company of a local guide.

Our trip starts in the city of Granada, more specifically in Mariana de Pineda Street, where our bus is waiting for you, a means of transport that we will use to move to the different points that our journey picks up.

Living in a cave may seem at first a thing of the past, but nothing is further from the truth. For Guadix  this remains its most common and safe alternative settlement, which protects the natives from Guadix from the consequences of the weather that ravages this town in Granada. You will discover it with a walk through the mythical "Cave Houses District", with narrow streets and lime facades.

Talking about Guadix also means talking about a city full of artistic and historical heritage, such as its 11th-century towers, the churches of San Francisco, Santa Ana and Santo Domingo and its Cathedral. Guadix is also synonymous with spectacular views of Granada, Sierra Nevada and the Vega of Granada.

And for lovers of Prehistorical times, our tour ends with a visit to the archaeological site of Gorafe, megalithic constructions in their purest state, where you will find the largest European grouping of funerary monuments of the Bronze Age, a total of 240 Dolmens, wrapped in an arid landscape of badlands.
