Description of Skip-the-line entry to the Pena Palace and the Park

Welcome to the most magical palace in Sintra, in Portugal and perhaps in the entire world. The Pena Palace arises from the imagination of King Ferdinand II, popularly known as the Artist King. Visit that dream construction and enjoy in first person the jewel of Sintra.

The initial objective was to restore the old São Jerónimo Monastery and turn it into a second residence for the royal family to go on vacation. His enthusiasm and enthusiasm were what caused this project to lead to a mix of architectural styles, striking colors and impressive views .
Inside you can see the most ostentatious decorations, luxurious rooms full of murals, magnificent vaults and grandiose spaces. Don't miss the Manuelino Cloister, the newt at the entrance, thegreen room or theQueen's terrace .

You can find features from the Middle Ages, but also Arab, Romanesque and Gothic. As if that were not enough, the Palace also has Renaissance and Baroque touches and even areas that seem designed by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí himself. This combination of styles together with the colors yellow, red and blue create a magical aura that will make you feel like you are in a story.

And what is a fairy tale palace without its gardens where fairies and other magical beings live? With the entrance to the palace, you can also access the park that surrounds it, 200 hectares of gardens full of winding paths, imposing rocks, streams and exotic plants.

A magical experience from start to finish.
