Hiking route to the mouth of the Guadalhorce

We will begin the hiking route along the Guadalhorce Footbridge, which is currently the largest wooden bridge in Europe. We will visit the most emblematic places of the Senda Litoral del Guadalhorceand we will learn about the great landscape and ecological value that this protected natural area protects. During our hiking trip we will be immersed in a truly distinguished environment, and with truly exotic fauna and flora, such as its iconic pink flamingos, browning in the sun in its marshes, black storks or Audouin's gulls.

Our hiking tour will take us to discover the beaches of Guadalmar, where the sunset is experienced in a different way and to walk through an environment full of lagoons, beaches and shores that overlook the Mouth of the Guadalhorce a certain mysticism. This swampy terrain so typical of this natural area of Malaga is caused by the confluence of sea and river waters, which ends up creating a very varied landscape, giving rise to the perfect place for the Mouth of the Guadalhorce to be one of the last corners for migratory birds. For this reason we will always be accompanied by the local fauna.
