Guided tour in Toledo El Greco and the Jewish Quarter

Go back in time, to the 16th century, in Toledo with this guided route of El Greco.

Toledo used to be an imperial city at that time thanks to Carlos I. Due to this fact there are many pieces that reminds us of that époque.

We will begin our trip in the Town Hall Square, near the Jewish quarter. We will head to El Salvador square, where the Jewish quarter starts. We will see different inscriptions in there in Spanish, English and Jewish.

We will walk down the streets of this neighborhood and discover a church where a master piece belonging to El Greco is located: "El Entierro del Conde Orgaz".

We will reach Santa María la Blanca synagogue, belonging to the 13th century. We will see its transformation over the years.

The final point of this route is El Greco Museum, where we will be able to admire works such as "Plano y Vista de Toledo" or "Las Lágrimas de San Pedro".
