Hiking along the Colada de Navalrincón Route

We invite you to make the route navalrincón cast, is a practice of the sport of hiking in which you will be fascinated by all the landscapes that are in the area.

Our starting point will be in the Abraham Tower, a defensive wall of Arab origin located in the municipality of Retuerta del Bullaque. Located to the north of the province of Ciudad Real, with a population of one thousand inhabitants. The route lasts three hours and 9.5 kilometers each way, having to add the return part. Its slope is 50 meters and its difficulty is low since all areas are flat and easy to transit. Although in winter, due to its plain, there are sections that can be soaked by the rains and make the route more complicated.

We will go through cattle ranches, which today still have a use for the surrounding populations. There will be areas belonging to the National Park of Cabañeros, and you will be able to observe typical landscapes of the area: Mediterranean and dry. We will walk along the limits of the Bullaque River, a tributary of the Guadiana River. You will enter into a beautiful natural ecosystem and you will be able to see the fauna in its own habitat, like deer, wild boar, birds of prey ...

Throughout the route you can see the wonderful vegetation that covers the paths of the route, highlighting holm oaks, torvisco, arbutus, thyme, and in moist vegetable areas such as peonies. Once located on the grounds of the National Park, we will observe the Sierra del Chorito and the Sierra Ventilla, highlighted by their characteristic pedrizas.

To finish the tour, we will travel near the Casa de Los Palillos and also by areas of asphalt.
