Hiking in the Enchanted Forest in La Gomera 4h

One of our trekking routes at La Gomera goes through the Enchanted Forest, in the middle of the Natural Park.

Our route takes place on Mondays and begins at Arure. We'll go through an old Laurel forest, a unique local species from the Canary Islands.

Normally, this forest is surrounded by a thick fog that creates a fantastic atmosphere. Also, many of these trees are covered with moss and lichen, so you'll feel like being in a storybook.

We'll go through the forest until we find an open-sky area. This place is known as El Cercado, where we'll discover how the potters traditionally work with the clay.

Then, we'll taste some local dishes in a close-by pub, such as the watercress stew. The price of the food isn't included in the price of the activity.

The route has a slope of 230 metres.

Our guide speaks different languages and he'll hand you over a map of the area so that you never get lost.
