Hiking through the Argodey Fortress La Gomera

In La Gomera we have a great variety of plants, but if there is one species that predominates, it is the Canarian palm tree. We want to show you the immense extensions of this plant. There are more than 130,000 palm trees on the island!

This is the Argodey Fortress excursion, which lasts about 4 hours. We do it on Fridays of each week, as long as we have at least 4 people signed up.

The palm tree is very important for the economy of our island. You are going to learn a lot of information about this protected species.

We start the tour in Los Roques. From here we will walk through lush areas of palm trees, towards the south. During the route we will make some stops to regain strength and so that you can take the photos you want.

When we finish the tour, our bus will pick us up and take us to Playa Santiago, where you will be able to have a drink if you wish and take a walk around the area.

The total difference in altitude to be overcome is 350 meters of ascent and descent.
