Oma Animated Forest Excursion

Discovering the Basque Country, its forests, its nature and its environment, is in your hands. We propose a route that will take you to the Oma forest, located in Vizcaya. The adventure will begin in Kortezubi, in the Basondo neighborhood. All located in the Urdaibai biosphere natural reserve.

We will walk along a path for around 45 minutes until we arrive at the Oma Forest. Once there we can delight in the 47 works of Agustín Ibarrola. What do these works consist of? The author has made a series of paintings on the trunks of trees in which, depending on your position, you will sometimes discover animals, sometimes human figures, and sometimes your mind will decide.

The activity will last half a day. During that time you will be accompanied by a guide who will explain everything to you, you will have round-trip transportation. The only thing you should bring to have a great day in the countryside is comfortable clothing.
