Kayak route through Favàritx, 4h

The objective of this route is to navigate the northern part of the island of Menorca and enjoy the true adventurous spirit that sea kayaking gives you.

Favàritx is located near the S'Albufera des Grau Natural Park, one of the most important areas of the island due to its humidity and also for being a natural place protected by both its marine and terrestrial species.

Through this journey and from the water, you will be able to discover the Favàritx cape. A rocky point formed of black slate, with small small plants and bays on both sides. You will be able to feel the tranquility that surrounds nature and experience a real sensation of liberation aboard this light boat.

We will start the route from Na Macaret towards Es Grau, an old fishing town that is currently a summer resort area and visited by tourists. From here we will visit beautiful and very old secret corners such as the Addaia Islands, the Colom Island and beaches such as Cala Tortuga, Sa Torreta beach and Presili cove. All these places have very old formations and therefore virgin areas and of high ecological category.

You can snorkel at one of our stops and dive to see what the seabed of Menorca hides. You will be surrounded by posidonia and marine fauna of up to 30 different species around the coves.

This route is for all levels of experience, so if you have never ridden a kayak you should not worry because at the beginning of the route all the basic notions of paddling necessary to navigate with maximum safety will be explained, and the correct position in the kayak.

At the end, a picnic of healthy products such as juices, fruit and water awaits you! This snack will be prepared by the guides who have been directing you throughout the entire journey.

What is necessary to make the journey? Mainly knowing how to swim, although it is not necessary to have experience in sea kayaking.
Furthermore, to be able to take an individual kayak it is essential to be over 13 years old, otherwise the minor will have to be accompanied by an adult. We also advise you to wear comfortable clothing for sailing, sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap and the corresponding draft for the aquatic activity.
