Kayak route through the Miño River in Melgaço and photos 3h

You are probably facing one of the most exciting kayaking routes you will find, since you have the opportunity to navigate the Miño River, one of the most important rivers in the peninsula. It is a route of between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the route, since we have crossings that range from 8 to 17 kilometers.

An adventure where paddling will be the least important, since you will find yourself surrounded by an incomparable natural paradise, typical of the north of Portugal, following the course of the river between mountains and valleys from Arbo to Lapela, towns of Viana do Castelo. Marine fauna, birds, flora of all sizes and colours, the immensity of the Miño, one of the largest rivers on the peninsula…All this will accompany you on this adventure that ideally combines sport and nature.

We will meet at our facilities in Melgaço and we will take you to the beginning of the route, where you will remain at the disposal of the guide's orders and above all, of the river currents, which you will have to avoid. Once the journey is over, which will be filmed and photographed, we'll take you back to the meeting point, where we'll treat you to a sandwich and a glass of Albariño coming from one of the famous “Quintas” in the north of Portugal.
