Kayak route through the mouth of the Artibai river

The Artibai river is one of those tributary rivers that, when you see it, you simply want to navigate up and down. With us you will have that opportunity to do it, and it in a more entertaining way than if you were to explore it by boat. You will get on one of our kayaks and start a route of 1 hour and 30 minutes that will take you to discover the most interesting historical places of Ondarroa.

The journey through this beautiful Basque town will be an immersion in its culture and tradition. We will see, from the Cantabrian perspective, its heritage as a coastal town. But, for that reason, before leaving you will learn how to ride the kayak in Arrigorri beach, an area from where we will go sailing.

To reach some truly interesting points, we will travel upstream. This section will allow us to observe the buildings built on the riverbank, the bridges that cross its waters. In short, you will become familiar with its architectural heritage.

The difficulty of the tour is non-existent. Recommended for all types of explorers who know how to paddle and swim. The waters through which we will navigate are calm, as this route was a former passage for fishing boats to arrive and depart from this Basque town.
