Deal overview

Description of Mountain bike route in the La Orotava valley with tasting

Go ahead with this sensational mountain bike route through Tenerife, taking the opportunity to try some of the most delicious dishes of Canarian gastronomy.

The route is through the La Orotava Valley. If your accommodation is in Puerto de la Cruz, we can pick you up there and start the tour from there.

We will pass by the La Paz viewpoint, the Camino de Los Rechazos and El Bollullo beach. They are some of the most beautiful and beloved places in the area.We will go up to the Humboldt viewpoint to admire the valley in all its splendor.

We will continue through the urban area in La Orotava, seeing the typical houses and streets, and we will reach the El Monasterio restaurant, where we can rest.

We continue towards La Carrera and San Vicente and arrive at Rambla de Castro, a protected environment. Here we will enter the Mirador de San Pedro restaurant where atasting of tasty Canarian dishes awaits us, accompanied by a beer or a glass of wine from our land.

We will do the next section with great attention, since it is a dirt road traveled by hikers and we must be careful to avoid collisions.

The last part includes steps and steep areas, so we can do it on foot.

Finally, we will return to the starting point. In total we are going to travel about 35 kilometers in approximately 4 hours. At a technical level it is a medium - low route.

You can choose to do the route on a mountain bike (if you have a high physical level) or on an electric bicycle (medium - low level), paying a small extra. Be realistic in your choice to be able to enjoy the route to the fullest. We have 7 MTB and 5 e-bike available for this route.

If you are a resident of the Canary Islands, you will have a special discount.
