Excursion to see the birds of Sierra Nevada

Let yourself be accompanied by our ornithologists on this route to see the high mountain birds that have their habitat in the heart of Granada.

With this tour, you will discover the importance of the species that live in the Sierra Nevada. They are very special birds that have managed to adapt to the harshness of the peaks of the Mediterranean climate of this part of the peninsula.

We will follow an itinerary of 5 hours and medium difficulty addressed to all types of public. To begin with, we will meet at 9:00 in the morning at the El Dornajo Visitor Center and, half an hour later, we will board the gondola lift that will take us to Veleta Peak.

Our route will start from this summit at 10 o'clock and, after 60 minutes of the guided tour, we will make a break for breakfast. You can bring whatever you want to take at that moment. At 12 o'clock we will continue with the path following a tour of high ornithological interest that we will finish by 2:00 PM.

In addition to mountain clothes, it is important that you come with binoculars to not lose detail of the birds with which we will meet.
