Surf camp in Bakio 1 or 2 weeks in July

If you want your children to enjoy a fantastic summer on the Vizcaya coast we have a surf camp that is perfect for them.

Our surf camp takes place in Bakio and is bilingual in Basque and Spanish. It is designed for the little ones to learn the technical and practical aspects of surfing. For this camp we will stay Accommodation at the Umeen Etxea Hostel, 10 minutes from the beach. They will have the chance to enjoy practicing this sport for 1 or 2 weeks.

It is a camp aimed at ages between 10 and 16 years old, so we will carry out several shifts divided by age. We will carry out theoretical and practical classes and we will fully enjoy this entertaining water sport. We will divide the students into groups and we will initiate them into the practice of surfing. We will do warm-ups, exercises and movements in the sand and practice in the water to improve surfing.

In addition to the daily surf lessons, we will also do other sports such as slacklining, canoeing, paddle surfing or various hiking trails touring the beautiful natural landscapes of this area of Basque nature. We will also hold workshops, games, fun evenings with karaoke, mini disco, movies and an excursion to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. All activities will be supervised by the best qualified instructors with vast experience in surfing.

In our accommodation we include full board. With us they will acquire healthy habits and we will foster mutual respect and camaraderie during all activities.

The schedule of any given day in the camp is usually something like this: beginning of the day at 8.30am, breakfast at 9am, down to the beach strong> at 10am, warm-up at 10.05am, surf class at 10.30am, return to the accommodation at 2pm, >lunch at 2:30 p.m., rest at 3:30 p.m., workshops and games at 4:30 p.m., snack at 5:30 p.m. h, outdoor activities at 6:00 p.m., dynamics at 7:30 p.m., dinner at 9:00 p.m., night outing > at 10pm and lights off at 11pm. As you can see, the fun won't stop!

The camp in July will be divided into turns depending on the ages:

• 1 week, from July 1 to 8: children between 10 and 14 years old.
• 1 week, from July 8 to 15: children between 12 years oldand 16 years old.
• 2 weeks, from July 1 to 15: children between 10 and 16 years old.
