Deal overview

Description of Via ferrata Ventano del Diablo medium level 3 hours

Very close to Madrid, bathed by the Júcar River and on beautiful terrain, the Ventano del Diablo via ferrata rises. We take you there so you can spend a day of adventure and excitement. In total, we will spend 3 hours to finish a K3 level tour, suitable for children from 6 years old.

We will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the town of Villalba de la Sierra to head to the beginning of the road. Already equipped with a harness, helmet, gloves and heat sink, you will be ready to explore the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park in a unique way. The route has two sections, one for family and the other for sports, so depending on your level you can do the first or both.

  • Family via ferrata K3. You will begin the first section of the 500-meter route that takes place above the Júcar River canyon. By avoiding handrails and sliding down a 30-meter cable zip line, you will finish the section. Also, if you are not a fan of zip lines, you will be happy to know that this one is avoidable due to the parallel staple route.
  • K4 sports via ferrata. Afterwards, and optionally (as long as the instructor deems it appropriate), you can continue along a second, more complicated section. You will ascend vertically until you reach the Ventano del Diablo viewpoint, but not before having crossed two Tibetan bridges (15 and 20 meters). In addition, you must also be agile, you will find a monkey bridge of almost 10 meters. This part is perfect for experienced amateurs looking for a more challenging route.

We strongly recommend that you come prepared with hiking boots that have grippy soles and are not too soft. Failing that, you can also use boots or hiking shoes, always with non-slip soles. We will provide you with the necessary technical material.

*It is necessary to form a minimum group of 3 people to do this via ferrata.
**The first section can be done by children from 6 years old.

New experience, very enjoyable, to do it at least once in your life to see what it feels like.

Tips: Be in good physical condition, listen well to everything the monitors tell you, ask for help if you are out of phase or don't arrive and need to stop/withdraw. And don't be afraid of heights, mainly.

    We will repeat.

The guides are very attentive, the route is very complete with vertical sections and Tibetan bridges. The group was small, four people, and we did it pretty quickly.
