Canyoning in Gorgol and Os´Lucas Beginner 6 h

Venture with us on a canyoning route that combines the Gorgol ravine with the Os Lucas ravine, both located in the emblematic Valle de Tena, in the province of Huesca, and which are in the municipality of Biescas, where we will enjoy a whole day of ravine descent which may take us around 6 hours to complete.

For our canyoning route you will have to get to Tramacastilla de Tena, where we will take the exit on the left in the town hall square, just behind the fountain, towards the beautiful Betato forest. . We will follow a path that will lead us to a bridge that, after crossing it, will take us to the beginning of the Gorgol ravine.

The curious Gorgol ravine, which is home to countless legends of witches, will welcome us with countless corners where we can enjoy and release adrenaline. We will find declimbing where we will have to jump into beautiful pools, exciting natural slides that will lead us into beautiful pools and we will find a fantastic waterfall that we will overcome with an intrepid 15-meter rappel descent. All this overcoming sporadic sections in which we will be immersed in deep gorges formed by calcareous rock that exceed 30 meters.

When we complete the Gorgol ravine we will rest a bit and get ready to continue our adventure towards the Os'Lucas ravine. In this case we will be testing a canyoning route that is more open than usual and quite vertical, full of pools and natural slides with crystal clear waters. An essential descent if you want to enjoy the best of the Tena Valley.

The canyoning route in Os'Lucas begins in the funniest way possible, overcoming a 10-meter gap that we can jump over or slide down at full speed. Immediately afterwards, a long and winding slide awaits us that can be rappelled down if we feel more adventurous than usual. Immediately we will run into a 7-meter jump that connects with another slide that also reaches 7 meters. And finally, we will do it in an idyllic way, rappelling down a beautiful 45-meter-high waterfall.
