Via ferrata from Escarrilla to Sallent de Gallego

To get to the Escarrilla ferrata you will have to take the A-136 road towards France and stop on the outskirts of the town. Access to our route is located before the Escarrilla tunnel, in a detour to the right where we find an old road that is closed to traffic. From here, we will have to pass a fountain and immediately we see the beginning of our journey.

First we will equip ourselves and receive training and then we will begin the Escarrilla ferrata, which welcomes us with a fairly vertical first section. When we exceed a few meters we will see how it loses its inclination and we can climb its walls easily helped by the staples that are lopsided, which offers a little more excitement.

After passing this part, a section of this ferrata awaits us in which we will have to climb the staples that are installed and that are placed in a straight line unlike the first part.

When we save the second section, we reach the end where we find lopsided staples and a greater incline, which will make our via ferrata more difficult.
