Escarrilla via ferrata in Salent de Gallego, 2h

It is a route of only 80 meters in length and unlike other via ferratas in which the great release of adrenaline, here you will discover a great route if what you want is to break the monotony and enjoy nature, since despite its low gradient and height, it offers privileged views of the emblematic Tena Valley.

For this adventure you will have everything easy, and we say this because you will only have to enter the route in the navigator to Escarrilla and bring comfortable clothing and footwear. To get to the Escarrilla ferrata you will have to take the A-136 road towards France and stop on the outskirts of the town. The access to our route is before the Escarrilla tunnel, in a detour to the right where we find an old road that is closed to traffic. From here, we will have to pass a fountain and we will immediately see the beginning of our journey.

First we will equip ourselves and receive training and then we will begin the Escarrilla ferrata, which welcomes us with a fairly vertical first section. When we exceed a few meters we will see how it loses inclination and we will be able to climb its walls easily helped by the staples that are tilted which offers a little more excitement.
