Description of Via Ferrata for initiation in Cordiñanes
If this is your first via ferrata just come with us and enjoy it in our National Park as this is a brand new route and the first to be made in a place like this. It is located in Cordiñanes and it is placed at a height of 1200 meters and has two entrances: one at 200 meters and another one at 150 meters. It has a length of 800 meters with a rocky and vertical path, 600 stemples and 1200 meters of wire. It has a low-medium level so it will be easy for you to finish it.
To complete this adventure, and as a final adrenalin rush, a Tibetan bridge will be waiting for you at the end, with a height of 30 meters and a length of 35 meters, just above the Cares river.
We highly recommend you to bring comfortable clothes and mountain footwear. If you do this during winter time you must bring waterproof and warm clothes and do not forget sunscreen in summer!
