Via ferrata of the Castillo del Águila in Gaucín K3

It is clear that you are an expert of the challenges but, would you dare to try with us the via ferrata of the Castillo de Gaucín? Let us anticipate that this one is made for those who already have some experience in this mountain climbing modality but only with the surroundings and all the obstacles that make up this ferrata worthwhile.

Also known as the via ferrata of the Castillo del Águila is one of the most difficult to navigate of all that we find in the Serranía de Ronda mountains. With a K3 difficulty level,  it requires a high physical level and previous knowledge of this extreme sport, so it is not an activity that anyone can do.

We will start touring this ferrata on the slope that surrounds the Gaudín fortress through a stone path that will lead us in a zig zag fashion to a lateral descent that will give us a clue about how dynamic the adventure. At all times, the views we will have of the Genal Valley and the Sierra Bermeja and its natural park will make the tour even more spectacular.

The slope across its long Tibetan bridge and the hilarious zip line of more than 30 meters high, will ask us to have technical knowledge but calm, because at all times one of our certified mountain guides will be advised on how to do the better movements learning and thus taking another step in the amazing world of via ferratas.

The adventure will end on a charming bridge that we will have to cross along its 20 meters long, which will take the best taste of the experience.

Both technical and safety material we will provide for you, so you only need to come prepared with appropriate clothing and sports shoes. Are you ready?
