Description of Wine tourism tour in Tomelloso from Madrid

We bring you closer to the world of wine with this wine tourism visit to the largest wine producer in the world. We take you from Madrid to Tomelloso so you can enjoy an 11-hour day through the vineyards of the La Mancha region.
Our tour begins in Madrid at 8 in the morning, on Paseo del Prado esq. Montalbán Street next to Plaza Cibeles. From here we will head out to the Molinos de Consuegra (Toledo) from where we will have the best views of the La Mancha plain. Afterwards, we will continue towards Tomelloso, a city that today is the largest wine producer in the world.

Firstly, we will visit an old winery founded in 1900 and its cave of jars, we will do a wine tasting and a tasting of the famous Manchego cheese. Next, we will stop along the way to have a typical La Mancha lunch.

We continue the tour through the famous chimneys, heritage richness of the old alcohol factories of Tomelloso to reach the Car Museum, where we will also visit "the Bombo", a typical construction of the Tomelloso region made only with stone and without using any type of cement.

The tour will end around 7:00 p.m., returning to Madrid.
