Aeródromo de Matilla

At Matilla Aerodrome you can carry out all kinds of flights, from ultralight to light aircraft pilot courses.

We are one of the most important aerodromes in the region, equipped with two large hangars and a workshop, today we are a reference in the world of aviation.

We offer flight baptism, you choose the means of transport: a fun flight in an ultralight or an acrobatic flight in a plane.

In addition to offering initiation flights, we have courses to obtain the necessary qualifications to autonomously operate these aircraft. The fleet we have within our facilities is made up of the Cessna 150 and 172 models (the latter intended for PPL teaching) and a Tecnam P-92 whose objective is to serve ULM courses.

You can also rent a space in the hangar for your plane or ultralight, we have offers that include maintenance.

To complement your passion for air, we put at your disposal La Taberna del Aviador, where you can eat daily, relax with a drink in the open air in the warm months, or celebrate your events with our planes as an exceptional fund.

At the Matilla Aerodrome we join the advance of time and the new needs that arise for users of this type of facilities. For this reason, just over 20 kilometers from Valladolid we wanted to be the reference in aerial disciplines, both recreationally and professionally.

We discover part of what we are and do, the rest you will have to come and experience:

- Training school: if you want to be a pilot, the first decision to make will be what type of aircraft since we can train you both for a small plane and to have an ultralight under your direction. Furthermore, coinciding with the appearance of the latest technologies, we prepare you now to handle drones.

- Tourist flights by small plane: they have a double function, since in addition to serving your fun, you will learn the basics of an aerial journey thanks to the collaboration of our pilot. We leave on flights of a total of 40 minutes, 30 of which are strictly high altitude travel. We will detail the entire process, from takeoff until you return to the ground.

- Aeroclub for private pilots: you can be part of the Valladolid Flying Sport Club to benefit from our services and discounts for professionals.

The Matilla Aerodrome offers initiation flights and flight courses in ultralight . These agile and versatile aircraft give you a delicious and incomparable feeling of freedom.

We have introductory courses. If you have never had a similar experience, you can receive your first class (or baptism of flight), in which you will learn the fundamental points of ultralight flight ..

If you try it, you will surely repeat it, that is why we offer a pilot course, to obtain the ULM Pilot title A total of 20 classes of one hour of flight each and with the right to an exam. The classes to complete the theory program will be face-to-face so that you can resolve your doubts more immediately.

You will need to take some aspects into account before registering:

- Having reached the age of 16, you can register without being of legal age but, in that case, your parents will have to have authorized you in writing. You have to be in possession of Spanish nationality, or community within the European Union. We will ask you to present a photograph and go to the medical examination authorized by the aeronautical services.
