Our maxim at Sky Norte is that there is no better experience than flying, which is why we share our passion with our work, resulting in the best experiences either through our paragliding or ultralight flights.

Our center, located in Sopelana , focuses on the best activities that include adventures in the air and active tourism, so you know that you will always have the best option to appreciate the unmistakable landscapes of the Basque coast without abandoning the strongest emotions.

All of our team are professionals with extensive experience in the world of aviation so, whether you choose an experience in ultralight or a tandem paragliding flight , you know you are going to have the best guarantee of professionalism.

Azkorri , Orduña , Vitoria ... the most beautiful places in our province while you fly accompanied by a pilot in our latest generation paragliders. You can choose between a 25-minute flight or a 45-minute flight, but always recording yourself with our GoPro and making the most of every corner we pass through.

If you prefer the ultralight, we understand it, because it is also an adventure on its own. We will depart from Losa aerodrome , in Burgos, to depart with our aircraft through the most beautiful places in Orduña and Losa, among other landscape jewels such as Gorobel or Tologorri.

At Sky Norte we firmly believe that there is no better way to go sightseeing than from above, and what better way to do it than with a paragliding flight so that in addition to enjoy the spectacular views of the Basque coast experience in first person what it really feels like with an adrenaline rush.

Our team is made up of professional pilots who will control the big kite at all times, as it is a two-seater flight. They will explain the entire procedure in detail so that from the first minute you can enjoy one of the best adventures you are going to live.

Flights are made from Biscay towns of Sopelana and Orduña , perfect locations to enjoy incomparable views of Bilbao , Barinatxe or beaches like La Salvaje.

You can choose between a flight of 20-25 minutes , perfect for those who want to try paragliding for the first time, or a longer one of between 40 and 45 minutes for those who seek to enjoy a ride to another level. Regardless of the option you choose, we will record you with a GoPro so that you always have the best memory.

Anyone eager for new adventures can paraglide , as long as you do not suspect that you are pregnant, people over 120 kg or under 6 years old.

You must bear in mind that it is an activity totally subject to weather conditions , so if the day booked by the expert considers it unwise to fly, it will be postponed until the next available date. Safety is paramount, that is why we usually fly between the months of October to May, to ensure the best possible time.

Come with closed shoes or, better still, like trekking boots if possible, with long pants so that when landing you do not get possible scratches, and with warm clothes depending on the weather (in summer with a windbreaker type is enough).

If your great passion is aviation but you have not yet found where or with whom to take that first step, with Ski Norte you have it easier than ever. We are the best company to enjoy active tourism from above in the entire north of the country, and of course, in the Basque Country, so an ultralight flight with our pilots becomes perfect.

Although our headquarters are in the Biscayan town of Sopelana , if you have opted for this experience, we will meet at the Losa aerodrome already in the province of Burgos , but very close to us about 24 km.

Our aircraft is two-seater, so on the ride you will always be accompanied by one of the members of our team of professionals, all with extensive experience and flight hours. This will guide you through every corner that we pass through, witnessing unique and unchanging places in up to three provinces through which we will pass, Álava, Vizcaya and Burgos.

We will meet at the airport between 8 and 10 in the morning, the stipulated time for the flights. Our briefing will take place there, in which the entire procedure to follow inside the ultralight will be explained in detail. We always recommend coming prepared with sunglasses, a coat (regardless of the time of year).

We will depart towards the Losa Valley to head to the Orduña Valley , spectacular places from which we will glimpse the Sierra Salvada , Eskutxi , Unguino or Gorobel . About 30 minutes or a full hour, depending on what you choose, in which you will enjoy like never before.

Both takeoff and landing take place at low speed, although then the average speed is between 30 and 80 km / h, perfect to enjoy every vision of the journey.
