Description of Aquarium Finisterrae

Aquarium Finisterrae is located near the Atlantic, next to the old lighthouse of the Tower of Hercules.

The Aquarium has several rooms, one of them is the Nautilus room where you will find fish of various species such as bull sharks, groupers or even sea eagles, it will be like diving into the sea.

We have the Maremagnum room designed so that children can learn everything about marine life in an interactive and fun way, where they can ask anything they can think of or are curious to know. They will learn about aquaculture, oceanography and geology.

They will also be able to get to know the Atlantic seals, observe how they behave and what their natural habitat is, how they dive, eat and play with each other.

You can even meet sharks and octopuses found in our aquariums.

Come visit the museum and you can see different exhibitions such as Pharmacists, the exhibition dedicated to the sea focused on bio-health research and Ex Aequo science dedicated to women scientists.

About the activities with the seals. I found it very interesting for children especially, but also for adults. The learning of the animals is very interesting ... We hope to repeat.
