The coast of Vizcaya is a world with dozens of places to visit, and better when it is done in a relaxing boat trip through some of the towns that make up the western part of the Basque Coast.
In Bay of Biscay we have 2.5-hour boat routes departing from Bermeo , a town that is part of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve region. One of them is that of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe , an islet connected to the Peninsula by a bridge with two arches. In it there is a hermitage with 11 centuries old. On this same route, we will also pass through Akatz, another small island in the Bay of Biscay.
Another of the routes is that of Urdaibai . Taking advantage of the fact that we are in this international Reserve, we will appreciate the low and high tide at the mouth of the Oka River, which is the heart of this region. The third route we organize is the Elantxobe , located on the eastern slope of Cabo Ogoño, a mass of rocks that protect the fishing port.
On the boat trips a maximum of 11 people will go and we will give you local preserves and homemade txakoli (wine) to liven up the walk through our treasures. In addition, we can stop to take a bath in the Cantabrian Sea and, if the weather is nice, we will sunbathe.
But we also train future boat skippers. We teach courses of 6 hours (2 of theory and 4 of practice) that are used to captain boats up to 6 meters in length and type C jet skis.
Besides, we rent the catamaran, whether you have the skipper's title or not (the captain is paid by the hour). It is a boat of 10 meters long and more than 5 meters wide, with a capacity of up to 18 people. Birthdays, business or romantic dinners, parties with friends ... any plan is good on a catamaran along the Basque Coast.
