The coast of Vizcaya is a world with dozens of places to visit, and best when done on a relaxing boat ride through some of the towns that make up the western part of the Basque Coast.
InBay of Biscay we have2.5-hour boat routes departing from Bermeo, a town that is part of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve region. One of them is San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, an islet connected to the Peninsula by a two-arch bridge. In it there is a hermitage that is 11 centuries old. On this same journey, we will also pass through Akatz, another small island in the Bay of Biscay.
Another route is Urdaibai. Taking advantage of the fact that we are in this International Reserve, we will appreciate the low and high tide at the mouth of the Oka River, which is the heart of this region. The third route that we organize is that of Elantxobe, located on the eastern slope of Cape Ogoño, a mass of rocks that protect the fishing port.
On the boat rides there will be a maximum of 11 people and we will give you local preserves and homemade txakoli (wine) to liven up the trip through our treasures. In addition, we can stop to take a swim in the Cantabrian Sea and, if the weather is good, we will sunbathe.
But we also train future boat skippers. We teach 6-hour courses (2 theory and 4 practice) that are used to captain boats up to 6 meters in length and type C jet skis.
Additionally, we rent the catamaran, whether you have the skipper title or not (the captain is paid by the hour). It is a boat 10 meters long and more than 5 meters wide, with a capacity of up to 18 people. Birthdays, business or romantic dinners, parties with friends... any plan is good on a catamaran along the Basque Coast.
