Manos do Douro

We are Manos do Douro a company in love with our region! The North of Portugal stands out for its architectural and cultural charm, but above all for the nature that encompasses it. The Douro region was proclaimed World Heritage as an area of vineyards that grow leaving behind the canyons and mountain ranges of the interior.

At Manos do Douro we have more than 15 years of experience in the river tourism sector and the result of the proximity between the city of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, we wanted to encourage excursions along the Duero River to make known, from a different perspective, the environment that surrounds this place.

We have differentriver experiences so that you can discover the beauty of the Duero itself as it passes through the area. One of them is our tour aboard a beautiful rabelo, which will pass through the 6 bridges that cross the river in Porto. You will get on board an old traditional Portuense boat that was used to transport wine barrels.

Although you can also enjoy an exciting descent along the Duero riverbed until you reach its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean or an ascent /strong>from Oporto to Régua, where you will have the opportunity to climb theCarrapatelo Dam and much, but many more. In short, you will discover the beauty of its riverbed!
