At the La Merced Hostel we program various types of camps so that all family profiles find something to suit them. This idea results in our urban programs with accommodation for participants between the ages of 3 and 15. They are:
- Fun Summer Camp: an urban camp at our Santa Cruz facilities that takes place from the end of school, before the beginning of July, until September. The general schedule for carrying out the activities is from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with reception available for participants from 7:55 a.m. with breakfast for a small additional cost. Departure can also be brought forward within the same price for those parents who prefer their little ones to return home earlier.
- Sports Campus: with the same schedule as the previous one, in this case we will use the INEF facilities located in A Coruña. Sports will be the protagonists of these days in the second half of July.
- Summer Foz: it is our full board camp so called because it takes place in the province of Lugo, town of Foz. The Martínez Otero School complex is used.

At the La Merced Hostel we use our facilities to provide service to those parents who have to work in the summer scheduling urban camps for their children. Places are available for those participants who are between 3 and 15 years old.
We will be in the Santa Cruz area in Oleiros from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., thus covering the main hours of the day to contribute to work-life balance. However, those parents who wish may pick up their children earlier. In the same way, breakfast service can be requested from 7:55 a.m. The available dates coincide with school holidays, starting the program at the end of June and closing on September 1.
In any of the chosen turns, participants will find:
- English and music: there will be two main aspects within each day taught in groups that will be marked by the organizers based on the ages and knowledge of the children.
- Workshops, games and cultural visits: the activities will take place both inside and outside the facilities, always seeking cooperation between the little ones who will learn the precise values for coexistence.

At Albergue La Merced we travel to the facilities of the Martínez Otero educational center, located in Foz within the province of Lugo, for our camp with full board accommodation.
Those registered must be a minimum of 3 years old and a maximum of 15 and will be able to stay with us during the first week of August on days when:
- Activities of all kinds will be shared: always adapted to the age of the little ones and young people so that they find the appropriate option for their life stage. For this we will make different groups. Before deciding which ones will be definitive, a plan will be sent to the parents so that they can indicate which ones they consider most appropriate for their children.
Games and workshops will be held within the complex, also going on excursions to the points of natural interest closest to the camp.
- They will take menus created by a nutritionist: our food professional will prepare a list of the dishes that will later be cooked by the center's kitchen. Allergies and intolerances that parents may have detected in their children should be taken into account and must be communicated before arrival at the camp.
