Albergue La Merced

At the La Merced Hostel we program various types of camps so that all family profiles can find in you. This idea results in our urban programs and accommodation for participants aged between 3 and 15 years . They are:

- Fun Summer Camp : an urban camp in our facilities in Santa Cruz that takes place from the end of school, before the beginning of July, until September. The general schedule for the development of the activities is from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm with the reception of the participants available from 7.55 am with breakfast for a small additional cost. You can also anticipate the departure within the same price for those parents who prefer that the children return home earlier.

- Sports Campus : with the same schedule as the previous one, in this case we will use the INEF facilities located in A Coruña. Sports will be the protagonists of these days in the second half of July.

- Foz Summer : This is our full-board pension camp, named because it takes place in the province of Lugo, a town of Foz. The Martínez Otero College complex is used.

At La Merced Hostel we use our facilities to serve those parents who have to work in the summer programming urban camps for their children. Places are available for those participants who are between 3 and 15 years old .

We will be in the Santa Cruz area in Oleiros from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in the afternoon, covering the main hours of the day to contribute to work and family reconciliation. However, those parents who wish may pick up the children before. In the same way you can request breakfast service from 7.55 h. The available dates coincide with the school holidays starting the program at the end of June and closing it on September 1.

In any of the chosen shifts, participants will find:

- English and music : they will be two main aspects within each day taught in groups that will be marked by the organizers attending to children's ages and knowledge.

- Workshops, games and cultural visits : the activities will take place both inside and outside the facilities, always seeking cooperation among the children who will learn the precise values for living together.

In Albergue La Merced we move to the facilities of the Martínez Otero educational center, located in Foz in the province of Lugo, for our camp with full board accommodation.
Enrollees must be a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 15 and may stay with us during the first week of August days in which:

- Activities of all kinds will be shared : always adapted to the age of the little ones and young people so that they find the right option for their vital stage. For this we will make different groups. Before deciding which ones will be the final ones, a plan will be sent to the parents so that they can indicate which they consider most suitable for their children.

Games and workshops will be held within the complex, also going on excursions to the points of natural interest closest to the camp.

- They will take menus created by a nutritionist : our food professional will prepare a list of the dishes that will be later cooked by the center's kitchen. It is possible to contemplate the allergies and intolerances that the parents have detected in your children, communicating it before arriving at the camp.
