Gaia Aventura

With Gaia Aventura you can take action through the leisure activities that we offer you. We work both activities for beginners and courses aimed at training new experts in extreme and outdoor sports.

Some of those that we propose are:

- Canyoning : a perfect combination of land and water that leads us to follow the itinerary of a river between the mountains. As it is not a common path, we will have to continue jumping to overcome heights between one section and another, swimming when the water level demands it or letting ourselves slip on the rocks.

- Multi-adventure camps : by places for any child, in our Valle de Tus camp, at the request of schools and associations that wish to maintain a coexistence in the Sierra del Segura customized exactly to meet their requirements.

- Hiking expeditions : without difficulty or climbing the mountain as trekking, helping us with poles and specific material.

- Climbing and via ferratas : we will show you two ways of ascent, the first by our own means and the second assisted by material installed in the rock.

At Gaia Aventura we have prepared ourselves to become the best company during your canyoning descents. We depart from our facilities in the Albacete town of Hellín to take you to canyoned rivers and teach you the techniques to travel them.

Our recommendation is that you come with us for it in the summer months because the most fun are the water descents. At this time of year the water channel is adequate and its temperature will be perfect to get rid of the heat.

All canyoning entails:

- Preparation of the participants and approach to the start of the activity: before reaching the point where we really get into the river, we will prepare with wetsuit and helmet. We will also carry collective material such as ropes that will serve us for certain sections. When we are dressed for the occasion we will walk the interval of time that covers the distance that separates us from the beginning of the descent.

- Overcoming various obstacles : the rocks in combination with the water will become challenges that we will overcome with the instructions of the instructor. In some moments we will jump, in others we will swim and in the narrowest we will pass carefully on foot.

At Gaia Aventura we propose our children's camp in the Valle de Tus in Albacete. There are 10 days of coexistence that take place during the first 15 days of July, taking advantage of the fact that the children are already on vacation.

We accommodate the participants in the Common Places Hostel with all the daily needs covered since they will stay with us on a full board basis. They will attend a program composed of:

- English classes with which we seek to continue with the educational work that schools do during the year so that they do not lose fluency and, beyond that, continue learning.

- Adventure activities: we will take you to try canyoning, you will climb the canoes and move between the trees in the rope park.

- Workshops and cultural visits: we will learn about nature with themed workshops and we will go out to visit the rural environment in which we will be located.

Along with this own camp we have the means to organize others requested by groups in the Sierra de Segura.
