Planeta Ciencias

Planeta Ciencias offers the possibility for all boys and girls to have fun during the school holidays while becoming authentic scientists in Madrid.

That is why through different workshops, all participants will learn about the scientific method through different recreational activities. Typically, classes last 1 and a half hours (per day).

What workshops are they?

- Little scientists: children from 6 to 9 years old will discover what science is through very varied experiments. Topics such as gravity, cold, heat will be addressed... And for this we will build a scale, a water rocket, kite making, study of density and many surprises.

- Scientific explorers: children from 9 to 12 years old will learn about the principle of action and reaction, electricity and magnetism, the properties of light, etc. We will build an electric car, a camera, electrical installation of a model and much more.

- Organic garden: for preschool and primary school children. We will study the greenhouse effect, the construction of cars with solar panels, water purification, paper recycling and all the surprises that involve the science of ecology.

- Robotics and space: for children from 9 to 15 years old. Depending on age, different groups will be formed to design and build electrical circuits, observe celestial bodies, make a rocket or satellite, study the transformation of movement...

All sessions are taught by specialized monitors.
